If you are a local writer, photographer, or a tourist that has a great story about the Blue Ridge Mountains we want to hear from you! This site is run by volunteers who all share a common love for the mountains of Southern Virginia and Western North Carolina. If you have material that you'd like to share, send it to us and we'll share it with our online community of mountain enthusiasts.

To submit content to be published on our web site, contact us with your information and as soon as we can review your submission we'll post it in the appropriate section of our website along with full author credits and a link back to your website if applicable.

We will accept news stories, current and future events, written articles, stories of personal experiences, and other types of written content. We will not publish anything offensive, racist, or otherwise distasteful.

The Blue Ridge Parkway and surrounding areas feature some of the most beautiful landscapes, wildlife, and natural features you can see anywhere in the world. We want to give you a place to show off your best pictures of this amazing area! Send us your best images of the Appalachian Mountains region and we'll post them online for our community to see.

Please note that not all of the files that are submitted will be published on the website, so only submit your best images. We will only accept photo files of high quality in the .jpg file format.
